Yes OK, it's a mash-up, but it's pretty funny.  They repeat some of the footage too much, but it's worth holding out for Eddie Van Halen's guitar solo.

Also interesting to have this on a Chinese site - I just had no idea whether or not anyone there would be this irreverent.  It's not the stereotype we get in English language land.

(Also also I'm just assuming this is footage of the PLA Military Orchestra...)

Hopefully this will lead to a whole new genre of 80s hits/Chinese revolutionary propaganda mashups.I think Tears for Fears' Shout would be quite a good candidate. Stuart
