How could you do a parody of this?
Check out this company, EFFALO. Their slogan is:
think hyperglobally, act microlocally
and their charter, I guess, is:
EFFALO was chartered to synthesize, modulate, and deploy multimodal emergent systems that encourage interaction on a hyperglobal level. given the immense scale of this task, we maintain that distributed microlocal interaction is the most effective method for multiplexing a higher-level vertical adaptation.
That might sound ridiculous (yeah, maybe) but check out the site for a complete picture of how awesome the company is.
The design of the page is just spot on, the names of the "emergent systems" are things like "prgrssv nhncmnt" and an example of what one of their systems actually does is the velosynth:
velosynth is an open-source bicycle interaction synthesizer. it's a small, hackable computer that augments the cycling experience by interpreting speed, acceleration, and other sensor data into useful audio feedback.
In other words, if I read it right, it sends burbling and squawking noises out of a speaker for the ... edification of both cyclist and anyone passing by. Great for an urban environment, I'm sure.
Even how the company describes the fact they're on twitter and tumblr is just insane! "Repurposed"? Doubt it. Try "used as intended".

It is Nathan Barley
Yeah, that's what I was thinking - it is exactly the same as a piss-take that came before it. Totally Mexico. Keep it dusty.
