Electric Wire Hustle - Again (Scratch 22 Remix) by Scratch22

The whole thing's based around a sparse bassline and an askew hip-hop beat, with the original vocals kept intact. Mara TK's singing voice tends towards the soft side of soul stylings, in this case Curtis Mayfield. It's a sweet love song. Like the original track, the whole thing is under 2 and a half minutes and really doesn't feel like it needs to be any longer.

Electric Wire Hustle and Scratch 22 are both from New Zealand - EWH are a trio based in Wellington, Scratch22 is a producer in Auckland. The original track is on EWH's debut album, which was has been one of my faves in the last year or so.
