Somehow ended up with a photo of me holding a jandal to my head on the front page of Wellington's biggest newspaper, the Dominion Post. It's a puff piece for the Handle The Jandal video competition and it mainly revolves around each of the musos involved talking about why we like jandals!? I was eager to get in a mention that, despite Kiwis having our own word for the footwear, they're by no means Kiwi things. Glad it made it into the text.



I was there as a past finalist for this video. It got second-runner up (aka third place) years back (2001?) and director Glen Atkins won Best Editing.

Jet Jaguar - Now Serving



This year Ned Wenlock submitted the vid he did for the Malty Media track 'Mescaline Man'. Although Stuart and I were stoked by the vid, it didn't get into the finals. I guess I understand why the competition judges may have been hesitant to play the thing on a movie screen. It would be ... intense.
